Karol Szymkowiak
Born in 1983, work and live in Poznań Poland. Self-taught photographer, specializing in documentary photography and photo collages - working with archives. Fascinated by finding surrealism in faithful recording of reality, which he creates using the medium of photography.
Member of ZPAF - The Association of Polish Art Photographers.
Curator of a long-term documentary project called: The Września Collection (Kolekcja Wrzesińska).
Scholarship of the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region in the field of culture (2023).
Lecturer in photography at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
